Description:
The S.170-CP-12 multi switch has 17 inputs distribution system for up to 12 subscribers with a built-in amplifier for terrestrial input. This unit is DiSEqc 2.0 compatible device for indoor use with an integrated power supply. It allows the use of 4 quatro or up to 8 dual or twin LNBs, while each of the subscribers can view all channels from the connected antennas.
The input level can be set by attenuators in a range of 15dB. Using a built-in switch, it is also possible to send the command 22 KHz to up to 4 selected SAT inputs for high band continuously. In this case, it is also possible to connect twin universal or quad LNBs to the inputs of satellite system A and B. Please note that it is not possible to send 22 KHz tone to inputs fos satellite systems C and D and therefore we do not recommend to install quad LNBs for SAT system C and D.
Equipped with an LNB power supply control system, at stand-by mode the system reduces the power taken from the power supply by feeding only those LNBs whose signals are received by the connected subscribers at a time. So the power consumption may be reduced to approximately 10 VA (depending upon the multi switch type).

Important Notes:
- We have not tested this switch with DishPro LNBFs. (Any LNBFs with built-in switch may not work.)
- We have only tested this switch for FTA receivers.
- When connecting/disconnecting receivers, you MUST unplug the receivers, otherwise switch can be shorted.
- This switch is powered and works in Canada/USA.
- This switch must be installed indoor (If you are planning to use this switch outdoor then it MUST be installed in proper housing, so water won't get in. Please note that warranty is void if damaged by water.)
- You must have DUAL PORT (exit) LNBFs to make this work. You will take 2 cables from each LNBF. (1 cable for Horizontal, and 1 for Vertical - 13V, 18V)
