Description:

P.170 product line was designed to meet the highest requirements of contemporary market. There is no need to compromise whenever reception from 3 or 4 satellites is required.

This unit, P.170-CP-4, allows up to 4 users to get all programming (both polarities, both bands) from up to 4 satellites using one single box, together with terrestrial analog or digital transmissions.

P.170 series multi switches were designed primarily for use with Quatro LNBs. In case of utilizing LNBs with band switching (Twin universal, quad), attention must be given to proper setting up of built-in 22kHz generators. By that way it is possible to send 22 KHz tone to four of the inputs and use for example quad LNBs for satellite position A & B. Please note that it is not possible to send 22 KHz tone to inputs for satellite systems C & D and therefore we don't recommend to install quad LNBs for SAT system C & D.

All of satellite inputs are equipped with 15 dB attenuators. Terrestrial input is offered as passive (with return path, marked AP) or active (without return path, marked CP). The multi switch is designed as power-saving, it doesn't feed LNBs which are not received by any user at a time. Likewise, internal circuits enter into stand-by mode at the same time. Under such conditions power consumption is significantly reduced.

Important Notes:

• We have not tested this switch with DishPro LNBFs. (Any LNBFs with built-in switch may not work.)
• We have only tested this switch for FTA receivers.
• When connecting/disconnecting receivers, you MUST unplug the receivers, otherwise switch can be shorted.
• This switch is powered and works in Canada/USA.
• This switch must be installed indoor (If you are planning to use this switch outdoor then it MUST be installed in proper housing, so water won't get in. Please note that warranty is void if damaged by water.)
• You must have DUAL PORT (exit) LNBFs to make this work. You will take 2 cables from each LNBF. (1 cable for Horizontal, and 1 for Vertical - 13V, 18V)
